  • Horse Color Explained is a real winner!

I bought the book Horse Color Explained by Jeannette Gower a while ago, and I have to say it is an awesome guide for the novice. • THE book on horse color.

This is the very best book on horse color. The photographs are numerous and very well done; the text succinct - in short, this book is just about perfect. I have three books on the color of horses - Dr. Green's, Sponenberg/Beaver's and this one - and this is the one I refer to every time. Love it.

This book was recommended to me by several people...I have not yet finish reading the book, it is a reference book not one that will be read and the set on a shelf.
