    Best Film Romp in Years

    No explosions, guns, showers of blood, naked people, car chases, or aliens. But solid, fast moving entertainment with a great sound track. It does have plenty of adult dialog salted realistically with adult language, but a 10 year old near-genius lad helps keep it in perspective. Food? Plenty of that, too. It's a keeper.

    Chef: Savor this!

    One of my favorite movies in a very long time. Jon Favreau does such great work and it's really sad that this one didn't get more notice. A divorced dad who thinks he's being a good dad because he takes the kid places suddenly is out of work and finds that he needs to rely on his ex and his son to bring him out of the depths. He gets to know his son and he remembers who he himself used to be. Sofia Vergara and Jon Leguaziamo also add great moments to the mix.

    Love this movie; great cast great story great music; and when I was eating meat, great food; netflix "chef show" with the role models for Jon Favreau's character is also a winner.

    Great Movie

    Chef is a great movie with a fantastic cast. Nice bonding with a father and son and the kind of friendship hardly ever seen between an ex married couple. With a great story line, I recommend seeing this movie.

    A Great movie!!!

    I saw this on Nerflix and immediately bought it. It was that good, it's a keeper! It had scenes that were shot in Austin, Texas and Bourbon St. NOLA, also Miami. It's one of the best food movies!
