      Great family movie...

      Whether you're from a military family or not, this is a great movie with some great air to air footage of some of the world's greatest military aircraft. We first saw this movie at the IMAX theater inside the National Air Force Museum located at the Wright/Patt Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Ever since we saw this film the first time, our family has wanted to own this movie and share it with friends. Just awesome.

It will make the viewer appreciate the advanced capabilities of our war fighters to defend our homeland from any enemy.

      I do like military aircraft and therefore I eagerly watched it for the first time on a IMAX screen in Hong Kong and like it a lot.Informative with a lot of excellent air to air footage.It's kind of like a 21st. century Top Gun without the love scenes!Only drawback is the sequence whre the narrator says that now it's time tou use REAL ordnance and what you see on the screen is Hollywood-style gasoline-rich explosions...

      We first saw Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag in an Imax theater, and we were thrilled to find a quality adaptation on DVD for our home entertainment system. Fighter Pilot is a fascinating, insightful documentary of an aerial war game designed to prepare the world's elite pilots for combat. It is an excellent purchase for everyone, from children who simply love airplanes to serious students of military history and operations. The entire family will enjoy it.
