    Points all the way!

    Low cost, efficient and well made. I have almost 20+ of these and always need to want more. Great for mainline and sidings, but generally I use them more in the layout background, as they are less prone to failure and quite reliable. Some do have occasional bounce back of the points, but for Code 100 wheels they don't seem to affect the actual running of cars. One note on the rail joiners, as with all new joiners from Atlas, they kind off fit loose, so press then slightly with some flat pliers to get a good snug fit so you wont have a significant resistance drop in the joint. Overall good product.

    Almost exact replacement

    Exactly what I needed for the spot on my railroad. I did realize that the #4R switch with detachable motor does not have the same footprint as the #4R with the integrated motor. The curve track is slightly different.
