    Excellent CAD monitor

    I have purchased a number of these for use as CAD / graphics monitors....for the price they have proven to be an excellent choice. The setup was fairly painless (download the latest drivers) although Autocad users may have to spend a bit of time optimizing the display for older software versions (text windows may initially be out of scale). The size seemed huge after working with a pair of 21” screens - the resolution on the old screens (which I thought were OK) now looks positively fuzzy by comparison to the 4K resolution. Although the stand provided is fine, I mounted mine on an cantilever swivel arm - I would recommend this add-on for anyone wanting to fine-tune the ergonomics of their workstation or share screen with visitors.

    Great value

    I have two of these monitors. They replaced a couple Dell 30" 2560x1600 monitors, which I loved. That said, I love these LG 4k monitors even more! Pros: They reproduce details incredibly. Backlighting is very even, no hot/cold spots. Thin bezel, fairly lightweight (compared to those old Dells at least). Easy to use on-screen display. The video ports are straight out on the back, which makes for easy connecting. Cons: The monitor stand is a touch shaky. Like I said, I came from those heavy Dell 30"ers so I'm used to mega solid monitor stands. That said, if your desk is stable you won't have an issue. Final thoughts: I only have NVidia cards so I cannot comment on Freesync. Gaming at 4K can be a challenge, so if that's your plan get a beefy video card. My RTX 2080 runs ...

    Good quality monitor, with some cons

    This is a good monitor for video editing. It has 2 hdmi inputs and one display port, but I noticed it lacks in contrast and the image appears a little grainy, despite it comes from a high def clean one.

    Better than I expected!

    For reference, I was running this as an external monitor for my 2015 13” MacBook Pro (performance struggles a bit, especially on 4K YouTube videos) When running on my 2014 15” MacBook Pro w/ standard integrated graphics, performance is much better. I was nervous getting a 32” over the more standard 27” 4K panels, but I’m very glad I did! Picture quality is incredible, and this panel is much brighter than I would ever use. This is perfect for your kind-of techie consumer, probably not for professional use (but maybe?) Hands down best display for the cost, and I compared it to everything best buy had in store.
