My truck was losing power and gas mileage and engine light was on, took my truck to auto zone and they tested it and EGR was the code. Their valve was 125$ for low end 160$ for top line. Got this one for less than 30$ and works great. Light came off engine running normal thank you guys!!

You get what you pay for. Only made a difference for about 300 miles and now it is starting to act like the original one did except it lasted 198K mi.
First 300 miles I was thrilled with it, then it started performing similar to the bad one that I replaced. I bought this truck new and the original lasted 198K miles. I would suggest even with the price difference that you get the original equipment from GM. I am pretty disappointed in this part and wish I had just gone ahead and spent the money for the original equipment since that’s what I am going to do next. These are a 5 minute install and a no brainer. You get what you pay for and if it sounds too good to be true then you know the rest. Buy GM original when it comes to parts such as this. I checked prices at locale parts stores and they wanted over $50.00. So I thought I would try the internet and found you EGR valve for the exact same thing. My EGR was beyond cleaning. Your EGR valve fit perfectly and it came with the GASKET! Installed Your EGR in the engine it fired right up. I've driven over 1,000 mile no trouble codes, engine runs better, better gas mileage. Does nt work tested it on my volt meter still doesn't work they were good to get back to me on exchange but it would have costed the same amount to ship it back maybe it would work or not so either way ilost money and they got money would have been nice to see a 10 bucks back or something back or credit lesson learned
