    Quick and easy dirty boost or transparent drive.

    Works well easy to dial in with the gain set low. The gain turned up high isn’t as practical or pleasant as low gain.

    Malleable little monster

    I bought this pedal because I was looking for a very specific tone of distortion. I was looking for something with a lot of sparkle that didn't get too muddy (like a lot of tube screamer clones) and which gave me a very small amount of distortion which wouldn't completely cut my bottom end. After trying out 8 or 9 distortion pedals (the Pork Loin was a close second) and decided upon this little guy and am pretty happy about it. First off, it does end up cutting your bass a bit. Depending on your band or amp situation this might not be a big deal to you, and it certainly doesn't do it as extensively as other pedals, especially when the drive is dialed back. Also the tone of the drive tends to be a bit metallic-y, especially when cranked up. This is similar in nature to a classic boss ...

    works excellent, versatile sound

    works excellent, versatile sound, very dynamic, can be used as a stand alone overdrive pedal or to boost for leads, clean sound, great for the price i got it for and can sit proudly next to higher priced boutique pedals. would rely on it to be my main gain channel, works great on gain channels too if your using it to boost for soloing. boss is also a reliable company so i really wasnt expecting anything less than a strong case and quality product. Will stand by it as one of the better "everywhere buy" overdrive pedels out there that doesnt get the recognition it deserves...

    Dyna Driven

    I was pleasantly surprised by how reactive the Dyna Drive was to my picking. I didn't get a chance to dial it in how I would have liked at this point, but what I was able to do with it was go from a heavy picking attack chorus to calm arpeggios and never having to worry about the intensity of the overdrive. The Dyna Drive gives the guitar player complete control over the intensity of the overdrive. It's surprising to see that it's not more heavily advertised by Boss.
