The item was listed as acceptable and met all of my needs but here's a quick description of what I got: Some wear is visible on the plastic sleeve on the outside of the case. The inside leaflet was still there! The disk has about 3 very notable scratches, although none are bigger than about 2 centimeters. Little to no grime anywhere on the product. Great service!

    Historical -- factual content regarding early days of Mormons blended with fictional story

    As with Marian Wells' Starlight trilogy, this 2-book series is compelling reading, especially when you know that all the information regarding the early days of Mormonism is based on well-researched fact (which those who are still blinded by this religion will tell you is fictitious, because someone told them so). The Starlight trilogy is from the time Joseph Smith was a young boy until his death; whereas this two-book series picks up with the times of Brigham Young and moving on into the Salt Lake area. I can't say it is "fun" reading or even entertaining; as I find so much of the deception and blind following -- which is all too human -- distressing, but it is much easier to read this history in the story format than as a dry text.
