Magnets were exactly as described. Handle with care though! These are VERY strong and 3 of the 6 magnets chipped into pieces in the first few minutes just from snapping against each other (from 10 inches away!). The 1/4 length is hard to pick up due to the strength. A 1/2 length might be easier.

Rare earth neodymium magnets are incredibly strong for the size…nothing at all like those old cabinet magnets that lost their magnetism in a few years after purchase. I use a Forstner bit to drill out the holes to correct depth, and a bit of fast-set adhesive epoxy to adhere them securely. Washers are also available for the mating surface, or another magnet, provided they are inserted North to South correctly…your choice. Two magnets have a far stronger attraction than the washers.

    Little Tasmanian devils.

    I generally use 1-1/8” x 1/8” N52 disks for my projects but needed a smaller diameter so I went a little thicker on these. They seem to launch at anything with traces of iron almost like a 1” cube will. They very often manage to pin a piece of my fingers while doing so. So they work great but watch your fingers. Have only had one suffer a small chip so they have proven durable as well.

    Excellent magnets

    holds extremely well. All are the same size. Easy to work with, just getting them apart is sometimes a bit of work. Very good product for my uses. maintain their strength for a long, long time. Have never had one lose its grip.
