    Hannah's Family

    I like to follow Hannah's family as it grows. Love the mysteries, even if they sometimes take a backseat to the other foibles. PLUS the recipes. I've never tried one, but I am going to for the holidays. This is light non stressful reading that is very relaxing and brings a smile to my face.

    Poor Hannah

    I have read all of Joanne Fluke's books and I absolutely love the Hannah Swensen series! This story was fun although if I were Hannah I would have made a choice between her two suitors long ago! Mike (the hunk) is insensitive & takes her for granted while Norman (the sweet & devoted dentist) is always there for her! In my opinion there should be no contest but I guess for sake of the story & continuation of a series you need a little romantic confusion. My favorite part of this series isn't even the stories it's the recipe's! I have tried all of them (except the Catfish Bait recipe in Sugar Cookie Murder) and share them often with friends and family. My families favorite recipe from this particular book is the cheese cake recipe. It's wonderful! Although my husband prefers it made ...

    Hannah Swenson Mystery HARDCOVER

    A movie crew has come to town to film some footage for a movie entitled, "Crisis in Cherrywood." Hannah Swenson, owner of the Cookie Jar, spots an old college chum, Ross Barton who is working on the film as producer, and this doesn't make the town's dentist, Norman Rhodes or Detective, Mike Kingston very happy since they are both in love with Hannah and very marriage minded! Hannah ends up stirring up a lot of gossip along with her treats for the cast and crew. The director, Dean Lawrence is very demanding and insist on having a slice of Hannah's Cherry Cheesecake everyday. That's not the problem.     Cherry Cheesecake Murder

    As I am also a baker and former caterer, I love to read culinary and food mysteries. Joanne Fluke is one of my favorite authors. This book has the same qualities as her others and is very enjoyable. Plus there are numerous recipes for the reader to try. I definitely recommend Joanne Fluke books. eBay makes it easy to purchase these items rather than searching the bookstores.
