    thought he was a chow mix 4 ten years

    thank you so much I recently went 2 borders book store&looked at the dog bible max my dogs mother was a chow so I thought he was a chow mix with husky,chow&golden retriever&recently went 2 borders book store&looked at the dog bible&after 10years I striked gold&found out my dog mas was a FINNISH SPITZ but has chow in him 2 cause his mother was a chow&also cause of the weight he weighs 70lbs&my dog Finnish Spitz weighs less because the hair you would think he weighs more he was oftered 2 me a week after I lost my MOM from her neighbor&I was never raised with a puppy or dog&I feel MAX filled that void I lost when I lost my MOM case MOM was my ROCK&he replaced her max is mom 2 me now&god 4 bid if anything ever happen 2 him it would feel like loosing my mom again he helped me a great ...

    The Only One

    AS far as I know this is the only book about the Finnish Spitz in the US. The book does a good job of pointing out the uniqueness of this breed and includes many photos of the breed. Well worth reading if you have any interest in this interesting breed of dog.

    Disappointing purchase

    The quality of printing and paper is inferior. This book appears to be one of a generic (all breeds) format, with a section about a particular breed inserted. I bought it because I am interested in the breed and there is little information available in the U.S., but about the only positive comment I can make is that it was relatively inexpensive. Still, I would rather have paid more money for a better quality book.
