    Series around civil war era

    Make sure to start the series at the beginning. The trip this young gentle woman had to embark on to save the family's thoroughbred stock by removing the main horses from the farm and managing to take them from Virginia to Kansas and beyond is very compelling. The dangers were very real and you become attached to the characters throughout the 3 books.

    Rec'd in very good condtion, only draw back was the Canadian postage of 8.00 plus and it was mailed from the USA! So because of postage I would not use again.
