  • The Jack Tales by Richard Chase

This is an excellent book! It was read to me as a youngster by my 2nd grade teacher and I wanted to add it to my son's book collection for it's wonderful stories. The stories in here tell a story of history but combines life lessons with a special "Jack" twist on them that keep young imaginative minds interested for hours on end. I love the dialect that the book is written in...it really comes across as if someone were talking to you in today's world in yesterday's lanuguage. This is definitely a must have book for parents who want their kids to enjoy reading but get something out of it at the same time!

  • A story tellers bible.

This book is awesome for story tellers. The stories are great but the key to success when reading it to your kids is to read it loud and with feeling. Kids love it. A must have book if you like reading to your kids.

  • The Jack Tales by Richard Chase

Read to my class by my second grade teacher, these stories are almost a forgotten peice of American folklore.I was excited to find them again and give them as a gift to my neice for her enjoyment. The collection is complete and will provide joy to the child and adult reader.
