    Like the original!

    I bought this for my 16 month old grandson. He is fascinated with clocks. This little clock was originally made the year his dad was born. I’ve always loved the song that it plays. This modern model of the clocks looks much like the original. I can’t say if it’s durable or not because I just gave it to him.

    Better than nothing, but the original is MUCH better.

    The stickers on it are extremely delicate and easily get messed up around the edges, and are coming up at the corners already. The song is much faster than the original, and the Clock DOESN'T TICK! The winding mechanism seems easily ruined/over-wound, especially by a baby. Smaller than the original, as well. Basically the one from the 60s is superior in every possible way, but good luck finding one nice enough to give to a kid. Its a shame. This will have to do.

    Fisher Price Grandfather's Clock

    My little sister dragged her grandfather's clock around from the time she was three til six, it now has a prized spot in her bedroom 50 years later, I hope my granddaughter gets the same enjoyment out of hers this Christmas. Thank you....
