    It depends on the surface.

It didn't hold on my radiator and I followed exactly the directions. It depends where it is applied and the size of the hole. The product is very good and should work better on pin head holes than on 2 to 3mm diameter holes. I applied the product on the side of my radiator which is made of plastic. It simply didn't work for me but I don't wish to knock the product. I can see where it would work.

  • Top critical review

    The title seems fine.

This product may work well during the summer. But it didn't work for me on a winter repair. I read the instructions, no mention of ideal temperatures to work in. I kept the package warm, used sandpaper on the areas to be repaired, cleaned the radiator surface several times (no other chemicals present), carefully mixed the product and applied it. I waited over 24 hours for it to cure. It didn't hold anti-freeze, started to weak.

  • Radiator Repair

The seller was prompt and the price was good. Sadly, I found far more damage when I removed the radiator, much more than this repair kit is intended to fix. I still recommend it for smaller cracks and holes.

  • It's J-B Weld

Didn't realize it came as a 1 time use package! comes in a 2 part pouch that you squeeze & mix together. Wish it came in the 2 part syringe like all the J-B Weld products, mix just what you need. Only need enough to cover a thin line less than an inch long. I will keep this for larger projects some time in the future!!

  • Good stuff but hardened way too fast.

Seems to have worked so far, except that the resin/hardener mixture hardened up way too fast and 90% of it was unusable by the time I got the fiberglass mesh in place over the crack with some resin under it to hold it in place. Good thing I had some back up J B Weld plastic epoxy that I had bought at Walmart as back up.
