      great information on billiard and pool, easy to read

      Lots of useful information for a beginning pool player or even someone who is an intermediate. I own an "IDIOT'S guide to Pool and Billiards" and it's nothing to compare to this book. The Everything edition is much more easier to read and the illustrations makes learning fun. I would recommend this to any pool enthusiast. Excellent book to have around.

      Overall good book for beginner/next step

      I bought this book to help my game as this is my first year of playing in a league, with some sporatic playing in the past. So far, I think it helps. The book is surely for the beginner or next level up. My husband, who plays in a lot of tournaments, has picked up a couple of tips to improve himself. If you are within the beginning stages of playing, I think this is a very good book to guide you through to the next level.

      Well illustrated and informative

      This is a handy teacher and rules paperback book. Useful for senior citizen libraries, and private homes with a pool table. The book shows a good use of white space, and is not overly complicated. Recommended.
