BLACKHAWK tactical pistol lanyard
Added piece of mind is what I was looking for in getting this. It will keep pistol connected to you if it comes out of a holster or it is dropped. Nobody wants to loose a weapon ever. Looks to be made well enough to do the job. I noticed that if pistol falls, it will go all the way to the ground. The coiled cord is plenty long however it will still be attached to your person or gear. So you might have to clean some dirt off the pistol after a mishap but at least you will still have it. The person end of this has a Velcro wrap that is pretty secure. Velcro, being what it is, could come loose.. maybe. Installing a snap in this part would be doable if needed. I will keep an eye on this to see if a snap is needed. The swivel clip that attaches to pistol is super strong so much so I haven't been able to undo it with bare hands enough to get it off the ring. Maybe a multi-tool will be useful for this, or really strong fingers.This piece of gear has ONE job to do- keep a pistol connected to you, and nothing else. In my opinion it does that really well.
