      As I researched the early years of space exploration I noticed that rocket inventors and inovators liked H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.

      Small wonder as those innovators and free thinkers (Robert Goddard for example) were thinking of space as a place.. a site for exploration.. and Wells and Verne presented it as though that were already a given in their stories. This verion of the War of the Worlks has the full orginal book.. The script of the Orson Wells famous radio broadcast and the disc has the broadcast to enable experiencing and imagining those first listeners reactions if they missed the lead in that identified it a theater. A wonderful panic that produced many stories as good as the broadcast itself.
