It did arrive in a very beat up open box , but it's New and I saw no signs of use on it till I used it . Good condition. I paid only half of what it sells for . I'm happy with my purchase. Just know that sometimes sellers will post New even if the box is not . Just be glad your getting a New one for a much better price. It's basically an Open Box item posted as New . But I like it. This is equivalent to 5$ wet brush at Walmart. I just wanted it to match my New Dryer . So I'm happy with it
