Hello, With me, the engine would start up about 80-90% of the time. Otherwise, a little push got it going. It has seen a lot of use. I think the cosmetics are pretty good for the age. I also handled carefully and would bring out, mostly at Christmas.
I am glad you can enjoy it now.
I have some other trains I will be putting on one day. I am at that time in life.
