Sacred Spirits Yeha-Noha Native American Indian Music
Sacred Spirits does for Indian chants, what Mannheim Steamroller does for classical and Christmas music. The title song, Yeha-Noha, is translated as Wishes of Happiness and Prosperity. The chants are accompanied by various instruments and nature sounds, making for a relaxing and uplifting listening experience. Light a couple candles, pour a glass of wine, and take a moment to really listen to the music. Each song tells a story and even if you don't speak the language, you will feel the meaning. Perfect pause after a hectic day! Energetic , Tranquil inspiration.
I first heard this CD while at my Pilates class. Our instructor likes to mix up the music for variety. After the first class she used this CD I felt so STRONG, TRANQUIL, ENERGIZED. I immediately tried to find it when I got home. Where else would I look other than Ebay?! After recieving the CD I read the entire cover and discovered the music was by the Siletz tribe from Oregon. My grandfather grew up on the Siletz river helping his father fish, and then began his own family w/ my grandmother on the same river before moving to Tillamook and starting the oyster farming industry there. I now believe that is the connection that empowers me through this CD. What a blessing! Other participants in my class report the same effect on them when our instructor chooses to use this CD. Definitely recommend this CD for purchase
I own several Native American CDS and this became a favorite. I listen to this CD when I'm doing yoga or relaxing right before bedtime. It helps slow the mind and relax the body to prepare it for sleep. I do think it's a little busy for meditation or energy healing treatments (Reiki) but several tracks could be pulled to use for this purpose. For the fan of Native music this is a definite purchase. Yeha-Noha by Sacred Spirits
I Love this Cd. Its the 3rd or 4th time Ive had to replace it as its either been permanently borrowed by friends or Ive worn it out I listen to it so much!!! Its been rather difficult to find and in my search to replace it once again I stumbled across Sacred Spirits vol 2. I love them both! If you enjoy Native American Music or are just starting to listen to it, its a CD I recommend
