    First time I used this 2 of the 4 pieces of the collet (or whatever it's called) broke off. I used it on an Ariens snowblower 8 hp engine, removed the muffler and other engine parts that were in the way. It's a nice concept for a tool, but in real life it's weak and much more delicate than it should be.

    3100 Chevrolet Aluminum Head Next to firewall

    It takes some patience and a little finesse to do this. But once you have done it a time or 2 it works easily. I do recommend that you try it on a head that is off of a engine first so you can get the hang of how it works. The spark plug holes that I did were on the backside of the engine and you had to kind of feel for the tool to engage the threads. It is a real time saver though as did not have to pull the head. No chance of shavings getting into the cylinder either when you use grease on the tool to catch any debris or metal from chasing the threads. Once the threads are cleaned and straightened I do recommend using some anti seize on the spark plugs. This tool is a great time saver. It could have been a little longer but was able to manage it with not much problems. May ...
