Product Information

Milo's Astro Lanes is a futuristic bowling title with three modes of play, six oddball characters, and five themed lanes with multiple variations. The action is viewed from a third-person perspective behind your selected robot, humanoid, or alien, with the Control Pad used for left and right movement across the lane and the Control Stick used to determine the shot's strength and the amount of spin or hook. In keeping with the intergalactic theme, the lanes are decidedly nontraditional in appearance, with environmental hazards, jumps, obstacles, and even alien creatures trying to influence the ball's path.<br><br>To counter each lane's adverse effects, players can acquire up to four "special" throws, such as splitting one ball into three or expanding the ball's size and strength. Each special throw automatically switches to a defensive version during an opponent's turn, offering players the opportunity to counter their rivals. The heart of the game is the league mode, where players attempt to defeat computer-controlled rivals in three distinct tournaments, collecting various trophies and participating in special bonus rounds along the way. Up to four players can challenge each other in the versus mode, while a practice mode lets rookie bowlers test each wacky course before they enter a tournament setting.

    kinda weird but interesting bowling game

    This game is pretty good. I just picked this one up and decided to give it a try. The gameplay is pretty smooth for N64. Graphics are not bad either for N64. Controls are pretty easy to handle fast. This game is what I said kinda weird I never played a bowling game with the twist this one has.

    It looks ok, my kids like it.

    Got it for my son Milo lol! He loves it, haven't played it myself but it looks ok. It's 1 or 2 players which is always good.
