Complete 4 volume set, bound in contemporary full leather, scuffed and worn to the extremities, with gilt lined edging to the boards, with gilt banded spines, chipped to the ends, title plates in gilt on Morocco all present. Outer hinges cracked, though no boards detached. Blocks are sound, pages are age toned, more so to the edges of the early and latter pages from the leather, a little damp marking to the final couple of volume 4, a few leaves with creasing to the edges in volume 3. xlviii, 495, [1]p; [4], 560pp; [4], 483, [1]p; [4], 523 [1], [4]pp ads, half title to vol. I, 29 engraved plates (18 of them folding), one folding table, plates numbered consecutively with plates 19 & 20 combined as one plate, unnumbered plate in the Appendix. Good/None.
