Directed by music-video veteran Geoff Wonfor, this concert film captures the band at the height of their success with a live performance recorded in December 1986 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England, in support of that year's THROUGH THE BARRICADES album.

    First look at this DVD - finally!

    I had seen this Spandau Ballet DVD advertised before on E-Bay, but always in PAL format. Although I'm British and very familiar with PAL, I now live in the U.S. and so must deal with NTSC. At last I've gotten my hands on it, and it is AWESOME! Its funny 'cause the first half of the DVD is totally different to the second half - living in Los Angeles you tend to learn a lot about the film industry ( half the people I know work in it ), so its almost as if two different people edited the film ( and maybe thats exactly what happened! ) In the first half you would barely know they were playing in front of 15,000+ people ( lots of close-ups, mainly of Tony Hadley - hey, I don't mind! ), but in the second half they really step up the pace, and now the camera follows all the band members equally, ...

    A nice jump in the past for eighties lovers (where were you in the eighties? the sound in England was this one). Nice videos and nice sound (stereo or dolby surround).
