  • Worthy in the PM collection

This is a solid performance, and production, of a Pat Metheny Group live show circa 1995. In support of the 'We Live Here' group album, this DVD gives you a good idea of what the performances were like in that era. Also, for 1995 technology standards, the production has surprisingly held up. In contrast to the 1998 'Imaginary Day' DVD, which features some really campy and out dated zoom/pan/frame techniques, this release looks oddly modern. The setlist is 90% off of the album, with a few extra treats and road favorites thrown in balance. 'Scrap Metal', a free jazz original in the style of the title tune from 'Offramp, may be an acquired taste, but is an excellent inclusion in the setlist. This one blends well in the medium size collection that is the PM DVD collection.

  • Amazing

Great set! It's so cool to hear all these songs together in one concert. The quality of the filming is excellent given that it is from 1995. It looks and sounds beautiful on the most updated systems. Also, to my surprise, you get little interview snippits with all the artists from the Group in between songs. A must have for any PMG fan!

  • Awesome great musicians

  • Awesome talent

This performance hightlights the talents of each member of the group. The interview gives additional insight into the music and band. Con: The cameraman did not seem to know the music. He did not focus on the right instruments and artist.
