This is a different shoe than most of the Lowa shoes I have owned. It's cheaper and of less quality but it's for a different purpose. The Lowa shoes I'm used to are casual, for street walking and everyday life. These shoes are for mild to medium hiking - which I have not used them for just yet. Lowa is a good brand that I trust (and one not everyone is familiar with, which is kinda nice tbh). So I recommend.
