Great for kids who are afraid to sleep alone
I enjoyed this book as a child, and haven't read it in almost 30 years. I recently was babysitting 6 year old twins for a couple of weeks; one of which was afraid to go to bed on his own - always delaying bedtime (shut the closet door, turn on the light, need another water, wind up the music box, smooth out the blanket, etc). I read him this book and he really enjoyed it, and it quickly became a nighttime fav. Within a few days, bedtime wasn't as much of a struggle anymore, when I mentioned the care bears.I enjoyed this book as a child, and haven't read it in almost 30 years.
