About this product

Product Information

Based on The Clique novel series written for between-age girls, Diss and Make Up is a light role-playing social adventure, heavy on gossip and melodrama, set in the private Octavian Country Day (OCD) school for girls. Players take the role of the new girl at school, similar to Claire Lyons in Lisi Harrison's first Clique novel, but can customize their character's clothing, shoes, hairstyle, and her name. The ultimate goal of the game is to rise from an unknown nobody to the "queen bee" of the class -- a position currently held by Massie Block, the self-proclaimed leader of the unofficial "Pretty Committee" clique of popular girls at OCD. To gain influence and standing, the player's character will need to stay sharp, both in the clothes she wears and in her interactions with other students. Characters can pick up a part-time "jobby" to earn money for the latest fashions, and must strategically trade gossip with both friends and rivals in order to keep themselves current with the latest information. Touch-screen controlled mini-games allow players to build up additional social points, by solving puzzles and action-oriented challenges. The Clique: Diss and Make Up players can also swap OCD stories with real friends in the real world, by sharing their custom characters through a DS wireless connection.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    I love, love, LOVE this game!

    I decided to buy this for my daughter because she's read all the books and seen the movie millions of times. She loves that you can do so many different things, talk to people, go shopping, play mini-games for money, go to school (just to list a few); it is a extremely fun and a game anyone could enjoy. She said that compared to some games, it's great because you have the option of playing mini-games instead of just going into your saved game. It's fun to play with friends, even if they don't have the game card! She gives it a 10 overall.

    Great game.

    My 13 year old daughter has read all the Clique books. She really enjoyed this game. We had looked for it locally but none of the stores have it. It was great to be able to find it on Ebay. I would definately recomend this game for your preteen or young teen girl.

    Great gift for tween girls

    This was a gift for my 10 yr old daughter because she loved the movie and books of the same title. The game was just like the book and allowed her to interact with her favorite characters. I recomend this game for anyone with a tween girl in their family.

    daughter loves the game.

    my daughter really likes that game, so I looked all over in town and I couldn't find it anywhere. In the stores like walmart, k-mart toys r us and discount stores. Places that you don't have to pay big dollars for. So I looked on ebay and there I found it.
