Excellent product from Apple. However, the seller listed the item as "Open - Item inside is in brand new condition”. It was certainly not in "brand new condition." It was dirty and I had to clean it up; how the box was when I opened it shows it was obviously was used before, but it is quite a hefty discount, so I can't complain much. It should have been listed as a "Used" product. May think again twice about buying from this seller again, but otherwise positive since the product works 100%.

    Great lightweight accessory; perfect for on-the-go use!

    Converts iPad into a lightweight mini laptop with limitations on available keys, lack of touchpad, and non-backlighted keys. Folded keyboard protects the all-important screen side, though back is unprotected. Good thing is there are cheap aftermarket rubberized back protectors available for that. Would have been satisfied with this setup if I got this earlier. [Had previously bought a Logitech Combo Touch that turned out to be much too heavy to my liking though I can still use it for more heavy-duty work, esp. in dark situations.]

    Light portable solution but there are better options for daily use

    I love how compact and light this Apple keyboard is in comparison to my Logitech version however… I don’t find it to be as stable as the Logi ; the keys feel smaller and lack the feel of the Logi . The Apple version lacks a trackpad and surrounding case (which allows it to be lighter). Another way the Logi is nicer is that the keys are backlit. Bottom line is that the Apple is a good option for travel and lightweight are the priority while the Logitech is much better as a daily laptop replacement.

    Good Keyboard for My iPad

    I like the keyboard except that the keys are a bit too small for my larger fingers but otherwise it works very well for me as I type a lot of notes on my iPad as well as my other laptop computers. I recommend this keyboard for good use for the iPad tablet, but be sure to check the particular keyboard that it fits well with your particular iPad as far as the model of the iPad, etc. before you buy one.

    No Substitute for the Real McCoy

    Excellent keyboard… Is perfect for typing short notes, or letters… I have one that’s much more used on my 12.9 but this is every bit as useful.

    Definitely would choose this again.

    Really changed my usage of my iPad. I definitely find myself going to my computer less, as I can quickly type. I also like it as a much more supportive stand than the usual Apple Smart Cover.
