About this product

Product Information

A violent, kinetic gangster film with a strong anti-drug message, NEW JACK CITY is set in the mid-1980s during the height of the crack epidemic. Two street-wise undercover cops (Judd Nelson, Mario Van Peebles) go after Nino Brown (Wesley Snipes), a ruthless drug lord with extravagant taste in home furnishings. Desperate to bring down his multi-million dollar cocaine empire, they send Pookie (Chris Rock), a former street hustler and rehabilitated crack addict, into Nino's drug factory as an undercover spy. When the plan misfires, the cops must face Nino and his henchman in a bloody showdown.

    one of my favorite gangsta movies next to paid in full, shottas and more. Wesley snipes outdid his self on that movie, I prefer him like Denzel in action movies than comedy even though I'm not sure if Denzel does comedy but this was good. always will be a great classic

    there nothing funny about drugs and death.

    shows life in the inner city in its true form.there is no good ending in the drug trade.there is always death and disapoinment when dealing drugs.there is no such thin as easy money. there is always a price to pay in the end.drugs always hurt the poor and the weak.
