    a strange feel good movie

    "What happens if" is the basis for this movie-- it is a story about what is under the surface, and how it drives our relationships, not about our surface actions. Yes, it starts bad, but in spite of the very human-ness of the reactions, the guy proves that he has grown, and that there is a depth to being human instead of just the surface gloss. About a third of the viewers just don't "get it" and only see the surface. About a third of them see that something is happening, but have trouble seeing exactly what it is. The other third enjoy it. Don't expect everyone to hate or praise it, this is a better look at that "young love and relationships" period than most movies, but not for everyone.
