The Blue and the Gray (DVD)
I purchased the "The Blue and the Gray" in order to give my Son an accurate history lesson of the Civil War in a few years. As a kid, I watched this on TV when it first aired and it gave me a better understanding of the Civil War, it's participants, and how life was during those times. I feel that this further reinforces the understanding when your kids begin to learn about the Civil War in School. Of course it is also good to watch as an adult. I bought it a few years in advance figuring that as old as it is right now, it may not be available when I want it. The price was right at $10.57 with free shipping. This is not rated and you should preview it first before showing your child as I don't feel it is for anyone under the age of 11-13, depending upon your child. It depicts war ...
