Product Information

En route to a tournament, 10-year-old Pokémon trainer, Ash, with his friends Misty and Brock, detour to a remote village to see the unique Pokémon that thrive in the forest. While there, they encounter Sam, a young boy who was transported to the future from forty years in the past by a Pokémon named Celebi. Celebi, also called the Voice of the Forest, was wounded by a nasty Pokémon trapper and fled to the future to avoid being captured. Unfortunately, the Pokémon trapper of the future--the Iron-Masked Marauder--is bigger, badder, and meaner. He is pursuing the rare Celebi and not only has the ability to make any Pokémon he catches the epitome of evil, but also has every intention of using his evil device to take over the world. Sam and Ash, accompanied by Celebi and Ash's faithful Pokémon, Pikachu, find themselves in a fight for their lives as well as the livelihood of the forest. Along the way, they encounter the legendary Suicine, reminiscent of a unicorn or Pegasus. Ultimately, the story is a testament to friendship and loyalty, with a surprise plot twist at the end that should be appreciated by fans.

    A Great Pokemon Film

    This is a good film for any Pokemon fan to enjoy. Kids and adults alike can connect with the characters, plus you don't have to have any real background knowledge of the Pokemon saga (from the first few seasons of the show) to jump right in and enjoy. Plus, the DVD has the Pikachu's Pikaboo short, which is a 20-minute long film featuring Pikachu and the gang getting into (mor) enjoyable shenanigans. I'd recommend this film mainly for die-hard Pokemon fans, but even the casual observer can get into the story and cute characters.

    THIS WAS A COOL DVD! NICE STORY & SO EYE CANDY COLORFUL THE BOYS LOVED IT AS WELL AS GRANDMA GUMP! reaally the kids so enjoyed... they just get so EXCITED SEEING THE DIFFERENT POKEMON & THEY READ MORE TOO BECAUSE THEY GET OUT THE POKEMON GUIDE BOOKS AND SPEND ALOT OF TIME READING ABOUT & LOOKING UP FACTS RE WHAT POKEMON THEY JUST SAW!!! A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR POKEKIDS!!!

    This is a must-see for pokemon lovers!!

    Another amazing one from the pokemon company! I love this movie and i really dont think it got as much credit as it should have. I really didnt know it existed until a couple years after it was released, and I was a die-hard pokemon fan then, this movie is amazing, its probably one of my favorite pokemon movies of all time, and its a must see for pokemon lovers (=

    good buy older version of movie has bonus short and newer version doesnt...

    good but my case wont close had to switch out DVD cases this was a replacement DVD cuz my other ones lost....
