About this product

Product Information

Frogger's Journey: The Forgotten Relic blends the classic overhead-view perspective found in 1981's original coin-op with the more modern trappings of a role-playing game that involves Frogger's quest to find his grandfather. Players will traverse across 18 themed environments, including caverns, forests, temples, and other locales, while conversing with characters and acquiring special items such as a grappling hook. Stored within Frogger's backpack, the grappling hook can be used to latch onto distant platforms in order to propel Frogger forward. Up to four players can also participate in special competitive levels requiring only one cartridge.

Item arrived in great condition. It came with the box, cartridge, manual, and other inserts with no wear or tear on them. The game itself looked pretty fun. It’s an adventure game a la Legend of Zelda but with elements of platforming. Would definitely recommend this to players wanting some action platforming with some story to it!

  • Frogger is a cool game. This one is probably more for the younger people.

Now keep in mind that I am from the original Frogger era. I personally prefer that version. So no offense to this one at all. I'm kinda stuck in my ways and this one is more of a new-age version. I'm sure it's a lot of fun for younger people.
