They had the best price on good Horse shampoo. Unfortunately whoever packed my shipment placed on bottle upside down in the box. They even place a "This end Up" sticker on the box! Needless to say I had quite a mess when I opened the box. This company only has office staff on Mondays. It took several emails to get an partial refund. But, they did make it right. Reading the review, I was not the only person to have liquid shipped upside down. Again, not the company's fault.

Although CLEARLY NOT NEW ,as advertised...... I will elect not to return, this time. Seller, if you do this to me, again, I WILL ask for a refund. Please inspect what you call "new" in the ad... thanks. Box arrived well, and in good time, no damages noted.

Seller has great prices all over their store. From the time I sent the first message to ask of available, they were super responsive and shipping was hella fast! Definitely would recommend seller if you see anything you like on their store. I saved thus seller to my favorites. Thank you again!

Easy to apply, but effectiveness before reapplication is short

The product is nearly odorless and its paste like consistency makes it easy to apply without messy dripping. The color finish of my gloves (Blk. Diamond Patrol) has thus far not been altered by applications of Nikwax. The leather stitching remains strong, and there's been no shrinkage or stretching of the leather so fitment remains unaltered. I have found that reapplication is necessary after every 3rd-5th ski trip, not once a year as claimed by the company and it takes about 48 hours for the product to completely penetrate and dry on the leather. The Nikwax dries completely never leaving any residue or tackiness. Lastly, one really good attribute is that application spillover from the leather onto the adjoining black nylon areas does not result in discoloration of the nylon.

    Disappointed

I'd heard about Nikwax for years but never tried it. In the tube it is easy to apply and dries fairly fast. Early morning dew is the worst in shin-high fescue. Frankly, I may as well not have bothered. Furniture paste wax did as well (but not as easy to apply). Mink Oil works better. The best I've found is spray silicone, and that's what I'll use again.

  • This is the only leather waterproofing product I will buy

Nikwax can be applied to wet leather and it will work. It is the only product recommended by Merrell for their Nubuck leather hiking boots. I applied this to a well worn pair of Merrell Moab Rover leather hiking boots and they look like they’re new again. My feet have never gotten wet when wearing Merrell’s treated with Nikwax. Unless of course, I step in water that’s too deep. :-) I’ve applied this to boots that were no longer waterproof and now they are completely waterproof again. I’ve tried just about every waterproofing product I can think of, at one time or another. Now, I don’t waste my time with anything else. It seems expensive at first glance, but you truly do get what you pay for. And, a little bit of Nikwax goes a long way. I consider it a best buy.

  • Waterproofing your leather....

I waterproof my Kinco 901 gloves. This product is amazing. Pull blue cap off and applicator is right there. Apply NIKWAX to gloves and esp. all around the seams. Product goes on very easy rub in and wipe off excess. Gloves are waterproof and super soft. Next is to do boots.

  • Works great

I used it on my Red Wing boots that I use daily in the winter. I have used them for the last two weeks since I applied the Nikwax and they don't absorb any water and sale anymore. I bought it to waterproof my new Blundstone boots (which I haven't used yet). I will not use it on my Doc Marten's in my closet too. It was easy to apply.
