ICEHOUSE'S Man of Colours Highly Recommended
This band is primarily the work of Iva Davies from Australia. This, their 4th regularly available full length cd, has all the compenents of the other Icehouse works: lavish studio sounds, perfectly mixed, harmonized with literate lyrics. There's so much to hear within their music: the soft adjoining choruses leading into the main refrain; the synthesizers building in and out with the tidal ripples of enthusiasm. This CD contains the single: "Electric Blue" which brought United States attention to this band for the first time. I bought this cd due to loving two songs on the cd and you cant find the songs anywhere, even itunes. Its a great cd, great music! Brings you back a few years.
