Product Information

The first title under a joint partnership between THQ and Nickelodeon, Tak and the Power of Juju is a 3D platform game featuring an original cast of characters. An evil sorcerer named Tlaloc is threatening the tranquility of Tak's tribal village, so the young shaman apprentice takes it upon himself to put an end to the problem once and for all. Using a variety of magical spells -- referred to as Juju -- Tak will confront a number of comical enemies as he progresses through a series of primitive worlds filled with potential traps and hazards.

    Great Game - Purchased for Use on Wii

    I purchased this game because my 4 year old daughter loves the TV show so much. The scenes are very imaginative and beautifully rendered. The controls are relatively easy to use, and I am especially impressed with the well-implemented point-of-view control. Although she cannot really play it by herself yet, I imagine that in another year or so, she will be able to without me. Although this game is for Gamecube, I purchased it to play on the Wii. What I did not know at that time was that I would also need GameCube controllers and a Gamecube memory card, since the Wii controllers and memory card do not work in Gamecube mode. Fortunately, I picked up a set of 2 aftermarket controllers for $15 and a memory card for $10, both from eBay. I highly recommend this game.

    Tak and the Power of Juju

    I bought this game because it's summer and sometimes its to hot to go outside so I like to play video games. Well I had rented this game once before and it caught my attention. I didnt really want to buy a used game because i was afraid of the condition it would come in, but sure enough it was marked down big time compared to the brand new ones. So I went ahead and bought it. It arrived within a few days and I was nervous to see it's condition. I opened the package and it looked fine. I was scared that the case might have looked nice but the game wouldn't work or freeze a lot, you know stuff like that. I started playing it and it worked like a brand new game. I loved it. The best part was that the instructional packet inside, the actual game packet, was in perfect condition. I am so happy ...
