    X-13 motor saver

    Installs easily, great instructions. Plugs into motor module and you just insert leads from protector into pigtail from unit. Electronic modules go offline all the time while the motor itself is still fine, transient line surges or spikes are to blame, so if 30 odd bucks save the $170 module then I’m game! X13 motor controllers are such a PITA and need protection

    Difficult to install, overpriced, need improvements.

    Could be improved, difficult to install, wires too short, connectors could be easier to connect to blower fan. Only time will tell whether or not it will protect the fan module from surges. These surge protectors are overpriced in $28-49 ranges and should be in $15-25 ranges.
