    Good for the whole small office. You can't put a laser printer on it but the computer, monitor, recording equipment, and cordless phone system stay up for quite a while. Monitoring software works well.

    Good UPS, APC got greedy by encrypting what should be open data so an additional circuit card is required.

    SMT1500 is a good UPS but it requires an additional circuit card to allow the attached computer to fully monitor the UPS with open source software. APC PowerChute would probably work fine but apcupsd could only read very basic metrics.

    Nice Sine Wave UPS

    Battery pack cost around $80. With 2 monitors, 2 laptops, 2 docking stations, KVM switch, desktop phone and wireless bridge, was still over half capacity after 20 minute power outage [about 100 watts of load].
