REDNECK ZOMBIES
First things first. This came from Lloyd Kaufman & The Troma Team studios. This is the group which "The Toxic Avenger" gave birth to. Fans familiar with Troma would know what to expect. Those not familiar..... well Troma is an aquired taste. I don't care much for the Troma products. I did like "The Toxic Avenger" and I like this movie at least just as much, although I have a hard time coming up with one single reason why. A barrel of toxic waste bounces off the back of a jeep in the middle of God-knows-where. A group of hillbillies discover the barrel and foolishly mistake it to be moonshine. The waste has a negative effect on those who consume it. See the title. It turns into a low-budget gorefest that also tries to be funny. Gays ... First things first. The rednecks are made out to be the most stupid people on Earth. But, it is done in a very fun way. Troma fans will love this movie. People who aren't familiar with Troma would be taking a chance. The movie was filmed on an extremly low budget. There is a lot of gore, but it looks like it intentionaly fake looking.

If you like movies like evil dead and dead alive then you will love redneck zombies. At first I thought the movie wouldn't be good because the quality and one camera angle,in amazement, I think this was one of the funniest gory movies I have seen. It's a must for anyone who likes gore and comendy!!!

If you like Evil Dead this is nothing like it. So to the Person who said it was, I don't think so. I love the Evil Dead movies and this movie is just plain rubbish. I wouldn't waste your money on getting this crap. Whoever thinks this movie is funny must be Brain Dead themselves like the Zombies in it Don't bother. I would have given it a lower rating but 1 is the lowest.

Redneck Zombies is a b- movie. Of course if you are buying it thats what you are looking for. This movie is fun if you do not want to think during a movie. Their are a few offencive parts so be warned.
