    This lens be tolerance with everyday use

    Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III probably one of the lenses delivers great quality image comparable to its class lenses. However, it is smaller, much lighter, and costs much lesser than the premier brand lens options. Tamron does not build a rugged lens, but the quality seems to be tolerance with everyday usage, and comes with weather seal.

    A great lens with affordable pricing.

    Focus is quick and sharp and I am happy with the lens. Due to the wider aperture of this lens I used it more than the Sony lens that came with my Sony A7iii camera. The front end of this lens does not take the normal 55mm filter mount.

    Excellent lens

    Tamron did a good job with this wide angle lens. The Sony brand it’s way to expensive. If you looking for a wide angle with good picture quality for les than $1000 this is it.

    Great lens at a low relative price to the big players equipment.

    This an excellent lens in the wide category, inexpensive for a lens of this quality, light for travel, sharp in a wide range of applications, applicable to the the most used range of coverage. I have two of this model, for video/still use, and also panoramic use.

    No Surprises at All

    I would not consider this an artsy lens such as one that has great bokeh or phenomenal color rending or vintage distortion, but, it is a product of the digital world - perfect, sharp, fast-focusing, boring - essentials for work that just needs to render the scene as it was.
