  • Because No Family Is Invincible

This is the tragic, true, untold story of Adam Walsh. Told in the words of his mother and father, John and Reve Walsh; and is written by John. It was the summer of 1981. Adam and his mother went to the local mall to shop at Sears. Adam wanted to play video games(which were new at the time) near the toy section. His mother went to make a purchase in the lighting department near toys. She allowed Adam to stay at the video games where other children playing and told Adam where she would be. They were not in eye sight. The items that Reve Walsh went to purchase were out of stock. She left the lighting department to get Adam and leave the mall. When she arrived at the video games, Adam wasn't to be found. NO children were to be found at the video games, odd. Reve looked ever where, no ...

  • Tears of Rage by Susan Schindehette 1997

I bought the book Tears of Rage because, like so many other people my age,I grew up with the story of Adam Walsh. I wanted to know the whole story about Adam, and how John Walsh became such a powerful figure for victims rights. Well, this book told me everything I wanted to know and some things I did not. The reason I gave this book a good rating and not an excellent is because this was the toughest book I've ever read. It is not only heartbreaking, It is very, very graphic. After reading this you will know that evil does walk this planet, and you will vote for the death penalty,no matter what your previous views were.I will always love John and Reve Walsh for all that they have accomplished, but more then that I wish this kind of horror did not exist for our children.

  • tears of rage

A graphic and sensitive account of the worst mightmare a parent can be subjected to the murder of a child, adam walsh was taken from his parents and the ensuing horror cannot be imagined, despite the parents immediate actions to find adam after he disappeared from the mall a number of unbelievable mistakes and incompetent lack of action from the authorities john and reve walsh still cannot draw closure as no one has been actually apprehended for this horrific crime and no body has been found, a truly heartbreaking story of a brave and incredible human being that is john walsh.i had only seen john walsh on uk tv as a chat host but never imagined the personal horror he has had to suffer.a must read, how anyone can endure the pain and suffering as john walsh has is beyond comprehension.

  • How do I tell you what a color looks like?

John Walsh once said; "To tell what it is like to have a murdered child, is like trying to tell someone what a color looks like that they have never seen." He is right. In the book Tears of Rage he trys. You see a softer side of John Walsh then you do now from his TV show. He opens up and is a real human. You see the lowest and most heartbreaking time in his and his wife life. You read of his fight for justice. This book will break your heart. But, teach you about a fathers pain and some what how to handly it.

  • Tears of Rage by John Walsh, Susan Schindehette (1997)

I decided to purchase this book to actually read some of the examples to my children that are of low teenage and preteen ages of what can happenen to children so unexpectedly and the pain and hardache that those parents had to encounter and live with for the rest of there lives. John Walsh, I give alot of credit to for having the strength to write this book. I think he did a great job on the book and all that he has accomplished since.
