    American Gangster Movie Soundtrack

    Great music. Some great oldies from the 1960's and 1970's (real classics). The 1972 hit, "Across 110th Street" by Bobby Womack is my personal favorite. The man had such soul in his voice, very moving. Issac Hayes wrote another one, "Hold on, I'm Comin'", the real deal right there. And if that wasn't enough, a modern day soul man, Anthony Hamilton, does 2 songs in 2007 that you'd think were done back in the day. A great experience and taste of days from a pretty cool era. I'm proud to be from that era myself. I drove a 1966 Lincoln in the early 1970's when these songs were current and on the radio. Those were some good days right there.
