    Great box set of good music from their start and into their most popular songs.

    Has a lot of old songs that you never here streaming. Even has decent quality on the very old ones that were recorded long before they became popular.

    Best version of Moody Blues box set

    Had several greatest hit s compilation of the moody blues in the past and found this one is absolutely the best version. Leave all the rest on their shelves as this one blows them all away. Liner notes, discography, etc. the best I have seen. Production excellent, each song lovingly restored from analog and digitally remastered as in most box sets today. Each song picked by producer to be favorite. My wife agrees with me that this is her favorite version of this groups anthology. The wife knows 60's and 70's music like I do and we grew up with this group as one of our very favorite. Excellent and would recommend this compilation for any serious moody blues lover or just someone in general who loves good music.

    TIME TRAVELLER-MOODY BLUES (THE) ( CD 1994)

    I AM AN OLD FAN OF THE MOODY BLUES, STARTED LISTENED TO THEM IN 1969, AND TIME TRAVELLER HAS SO VERY MANY OF MY FAVORITE SONGS BY THE MOODIES. THE FIRST SONG I EVER HEARD WAS THE STORY IN YOUR EYES, AND AT A VERY YOUNG AGE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MOODY BLUES. TIME TRAVELER HAS THE OLD AND THE NEW, IT IS LIKE TAKEING A JOUNERY WITH THE BAND.I HAVE ALL THEIR CDS AND LOVE ALL THEM ALL, BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS ONE OF THEIR BEST, AND I KNOW A LOT ABOUT THIS BAND,OVER 35 YEARS IS A LONG TIME TO LISTEN TO THE MOODY BLUES. I SAW THEM IN PERSON TWO TIMES,ONCE WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG AND IN 2005, AND THEY HAVE JUST GOTTON BETTER WITH TIME. BUY THIS CD IF YOU ARE A MOODIES FAN, AND YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

    The Best of The Best Classic Progressive Rock

    I was introduced to the music of the Moody Blues in College. I was studying Art and was in the middle of my final project in Painting. All of the intense concentration was giving me a giant headache. My friend whom I was painting with said she had just the thing to help me feel better. She made me a cup of Chamomile tea with honey - and then put an LP on the turntable. THAT was when the magic happened. I heard music I'd never heard anything like before. It was the Moody Blues and the "Days of Future Passed" album, and it was the best music I'd ever heard. It had Rock, it had Symphonic music and great narrated passages. I loved the seamless way the album flowed and took you on a fantastic journey and you knew you never wanted it to end - and it hasn't I'm happy to say!
