Everything, from start to finish, was perfect with this purchase. The price was great, the communication with the seller was fast and concise, the product is exactly as described and was packaged securely, and the shipping was fast. I'm talking blazing fast; Tokyo to Edmonton in 4 days. That's... 82km/h from the time of purchase to my door. I will 100% be doing business with this company again when I upgrade my zoom lenses next year. Thanks!

    Learning curve ahead.

The Canon 90 TS-E is a solidly built, impressively sharp lens with smooth bokeh due to its Gaussian optical design. The lens is versatile, both as a portrait lens or with extension tubes for macro use. As an amateur, I may face a steep learning curve before I can more fully appreciate its potential. Tilt feature may be more useful in Canon's shorter focal length tilt/shift models.

  • Total Depth of Field Control

If you look for a tacky sharp short tele-lens with total depth of field control, the Canon 90mm f2.8 T/S is the ultimate answer. With this lens you can transit easily from landscapes to portraits to macro shoots. Adding a 12 or 16mm extension tube you go thru 1:1 macros with an amazing depth of field. Only one advice: the T/S controls are not for a beginner photographer but if you already used any large format camera, you know how to use it and extract the best of its controls. But, don't be afraid to learn about weird rules like "Sheimpflug Law", check at Internet for the instruction on how to use a T/S lens and also, and major important, how to modified it to make the T/S corrections a piece of cake.

  • One of the most versatile lenses out there.

Considering it's a manual focus lens set at 90mm, the wide variety of photos this lens is capable of capturing is amazing. The tilt/shift ability opens up whole new vistas for any photographer that is willing to experiment outside the box. Using the live action function on the camera helps to bring out the most in this lens for still life, landscape, and other styles of photography. It is solidly built and durable. I highly recommend this lens for anyone that wants to step outside the norm and play with focal fields and effects.

  • Canon has an exeptional 90mm Tilt/Shift lens

I'm a Sony guy. I put this lens on my A7III and was truly amazed of the quality of photo and ease of use (With a Kipon adapter). I like the weight and durability of the lens and how it looks on my A7III. The ease of focus is exact, however, I have other manual lenses when you throw it into Infinity, you can slightly back it from that and get a more in focus infinity shot. I also own a 24mm Tilt/Shift. I used it off and on for high school grad pic and the person loved the out of focus areas. I like Canon lenses that I am going to try out a Canon 70-200mm F4.5. Also the retailer was easy to buy from and the product arrived earlier than expected!!

  • A classic for a reason

Only thing to bear in mind with this lens is the chromatic aberrations wide open, but otherwise a great value if you don't have $3000 for the new TS-E series.
