Package arrived promptly, but packaging did not have anything to protect the book. The book was stuffed in my mailbox thus making the pages curl. Its own system
If you’re willing to work with this deck on its own terms and put a fair amount of study in to the guide book by Brian Clarke (sold separately), this is a great deck. But this is very much a ~unique~ take on the tarot, and both the majors and minors have a different slant to them than TdM, RWS or Thoth. Definitely not beginner friendly if you’re looking to learn tarot more broadly. The images also do not give you a lot to work with if do read but are used to relying on scenes—the cards mostly depict character drawings of constellations. For that reason, it would be hard to just pick it up and work with it based on knowledge of another system. But if you’re willing to give this deck some time and are looking for a tool to deepen your understanding of astrology and myth, this is a lot of ... Beautiful cards!
Love the artwork and that the traditional names of the cards is listed plainly. I have some decks that change things around so much with the names it's hard to keep up with. My only complaint is that some of the cards don't coordinate well with their given name in the deck. For example the Moon card most people would associate with Cancer, whereas here the Moon card is Pisces.
