    I would reccoment this enthusiastically.

    The sound quality from this DAC is superior in every way to the (good) sound card on my motherboard. There is absolutely no noise and if there's no audio, there is nothing.. no hissing, no pop, just silence even with the volume knob turned all the way up. It has 2 dual purpose jacks.. one 3.5mm stereo jack on the back that doubles as a SPDIF Optical out (need a $1 adapter), and the front has another one that handles a headset (4 segment plug). Also on the front is a second microphone jack. There's also a high / normal / low EQ switch that works pretty well. For this price, you really can't go wrong. A quality product for sure.
