    The main pic is of (4) pieces. They ship in an OEM bag of (4) pieces. I have always purchased these in quantities of (4) each. So when I purchased (4) of this item, I expected (4) bags of (4) pieces in each bag. Even the OEM bag (pictured) shows the part#, then quantity of (1) package with (4) pieces. They shipped (1) bag of 4 pieces, and said they were selling the retainers individually. I can think of only 1 reason why the main pic would show (4) pieces when you are only planning to ship (1).

    Door latch 2000 Ford Ranger

    Latch worded great,but the electrical connector was different. Easy to replace though. I had to replace it with the old one,lucky it was still in good shape. Maybe the company can send both connectors with latch to ensure right one.

    Additional parts required !!!!!

    The door latch is excellent BUT what is not included is the jumper harness that is required to hook up the door switch. At some point Ford changed the design of the door switch and the jumper will cost an additional. $36.00!!!!!!!

    Switch plug did not fit

    The latch is great quality but the connector for my 1998 ranger was different. I was able to remove the switch from my old latch but if your switch is shot this will not fit.
