      The modem hooked right up to windstream for me and the networking and interface for this modem/wifi ac router is easy to navigate and it also has a setup wizard onboard

      Yeah, I'm thinkin' I made an error buying this after reading the not so glowing reviews. Live and learn...

      Literally had this modem up and running in less than ten minutes...I love this modem! I am using both ethernet and wifi to connect peripherals, and all is perfect. And now for the bad news; after 5 days of flawless operation. the modem started dropping my Internet. I am wired and I use wifi also for some peripherals. One way to get back online is to do a power shut-down. One time the connection came up on it's own, but several times after that it looked terminal, thus the power shut-down and re-start. Not difficult, but I'm waiting for the day it completely quits. Tried customer support, but after three days they have not contacted me.

      Best wifi range...

      Best wifi range out of several routers I've tried, dual band, adsl/vdsl, and a usb port that functions like a network drive. It's not being made any longer, probably because of the price point of cheaper units.
